Thanks to all who joined us for our annual Christmas celebration, held on December 15th this year, after the Sunday service. Entertainment included a wonderful music program showcasing the talents of our temple singer. The Sunday School class had a special talk from Brother Balananda. A good time was had by all.

On the weekend of October 4-6, the Phoenix Temple enjoyed a visit from Sister Devika and Sister Sarvamayi from the SRF Mother Center. They led meditations, a Satsanga for ladies, the Sunday lecture service, and a special class with Sunday School children. A hospitality tea was enjoyed by all after the Sunday event. We are happy to share in the following video of Sister Sarvamayi sharing with the Sunday School children the story, "Materializing a Palace in the Himalayas," from the Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda.

The Phoenix Temple hosted a wonderful Halloween party on Saturday October 26. Highlights included a performance by a magician, a puppet show, a potluck dinner, a visit from the Fairy Queen and many more.

In April we had our annual Easter service and breakfast. One of the highlights is the easter egg hunt for the children and the children's outdoor devotional service. The children's choir performed a beautiful song for the congregation at the end of the main service. A wonderful time was had by all.

We held our annual Christmas Social on Sunday, December 16 after the morning service. We had an inspiring service followed by a special musical presentation by the Phoenix Temple singers. A delicious vegetarian meal was served. Thanks to all who volunteered to make this a memorable event.

The Phoenix Temple held its India Night event this year on Saturday, October 13th. Our special guest this year was Brother Achalananda, vice-president of Self-Realization Fellowship. He presented a slideshow of his trips to Master's holy places in India. The Young Adults put on a charming play, there was musical performances, and a delicous Indian meal. A great time was had by all.

On April 8th we had our annual Easter Sunrise Service, followed by a delicious breakfast prepared by our own chefs. In addition to the regularly scheduled service and Sunday School, there was a devotional service fot the Sunday School children followed by an Easter Egg hunt.

We held our annual picnic in February this year at Steele Indian School Park. This was a great opportunity for our members to enjoy fellowship and a beautifull Spring Day. One of the highlights of the picnic this year were many dragon kites, filling the blue sky.

Our annual Christmas Social was held this year on December 18th. This event is held every year after our all-day Christmas meditation. It was a joy to gather with friends and family to celebrate the birth of Christ with divine fun and fellowship!

On October 29th we held our Halloween event at te Phoenix Temple. Some features of this year's Halloween included a visit by the Fairy Queen, a trip to the Astral World, a Frightening Haunted House and a talented Magician for the kids. A delicious light dinner was served. Much fun was had by all!

We held our annual Easter Sunrise Service and breakfast this year on April 24th, 2011. We had a fantastic breakfast prepared by our own chefs! The Sunday School classes celebrated with a special outdoor Easter service and Easter egg hunt. A wonderful time was had on a beautiful Spring morning.

The weather was beautiful for our annual temple picnic, held Sunday, February 6th, at Steele Indian School park in Phoenix. This year we were joined by a visiting monastic, Swami Suddhananda from YSS India. There were many fun activities for the kids and young adults, and delicious vegetarian hot dogs and hamburgers were served. A great time was had by all.
